At Presence Telecare, our goal is to fill a large, unmet demand for speech therapy by providing an engaging and effective web-platform that will connect SLPs with affected children. Our research has led us to believe that we can address the growing SLP shortage by utilizing modern technology and therapy techniques. The following document cites a variety of studies advocating the use of teletherapy in treating different speech disorders. These studies confirm that the correct use of telepractice can be as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy.
